Alfredo Bellinghieri, world renown chef and restaurateur, hasserved over 15 million people from all over the world in his restaurants "Alfredo's" and "La Trucha Vagabunda" in the "Zona Rosa" or "Pink Zone" of Mexico City from 1958 to 1993. The Godfather of Domecq wines, for over 30 years, he created distinctive dishes for generations of patrons from all over the world. Alfredo remains a memorable experience in the minds and pallets of a local and international community with regular visitors such as :Charles Aznavour, Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, Manolo Fabregas, Cantinflas, Hector Suarez, Jane Mansfield, Maria Felix, Lucy Dezi Arnez, Mexican President Miguel Aleman, President Gustavo Dias Ordaz, President Luis Echevarria Alvarez, Don Pedro Domec, Lic. Mario Moya Palencia, Mr. Carlos Slim, just to mention a few. He is singularly recognized for his contributions in the culinary arts which have left an indelible influence on the gastronomy and service industry of one of the world's largest cities.
